About Us
FluxPose is a small company founded in 2024 to bring high-quality full-body tracking to VR lovers around the world.
Origins
The idea for FluxPose started around 2017, when the founders visited a VR arcade and were fascinated by the experience. Wishing to become more immersed, they looked at full-body tracking solutions but were disappointed by the limitations of existing products. This inspired them to develop something that they would be happy with.
Development
The founders have been working on the technology behind FluxPose for over 5 years. Development started in university, with large wall-tethered beacons. Over many hardware and software developments, the system was refined into portable devices which are currently being enjoyed by testers and reviewers.
Funding
After publicly revealing the project in 2024, a Kickstarter campaign was held the next year to raise funds for initial production. The initial goal was reached in less than 5 minutes, and the campaign closed with over 3.7M€ (1700% of the goal!) With this funding, final steps are being taken to start mass production.
